Education

We need to make education a funding priority in Olympia and ensure that more money is reaching our classrooms. We must ensure our kids have excellent teachers and are prepared to challenge our students and make them competitive in our global economy. I’m serious about achieving meaningful changes to our education system.

Jobs & Economy

I will make it a top priority to protect the jobs already located in the state and attract new ones. I believe that one of the most important things we can do for our economy is to strengthen our investment in our K-12 students and our state colleges and community colleges across the state.

Taxes & Spending

My plan is simple; I call it the BPA plan. “B” for Balance the State checkbook, “P” for priorities and fully funding our priorities of public safety and education, and “A” is Accountability – we need to hold our leaders and programs accountable.
