My plan is simple; I call it the BPA plan. “B” for Balance the State checkbook, “P” for priorities and fully funding our priorities of public safety and education, and “A” is Accountability – we need to hold our leaders and programs accountable.
We need a State Senator who is going to ask the tough questions: Do we need it? Can we afford it? Who is going to pay for it?
Gregg is frustrated that Olympia’s politicians rarely look at deleting, refining or streamlining agencies …they add to them! He believes that this is not only a blueprint for failure; it violates our values of efficiency, good value and customer service. As our State Senator, Gregg will demand that the state return to budgeting 101 – where you don’t spend more than you have and you don’t balance budgets on bad debts or long-shot promises.
